Is it better to have the longer limb as the top for an asymmetrical bow.

When I make an asymmetrical bow
I typically make the top limb 1 1/2"-2" LONGER than the bottom. Thus bringing the fulcrum or balance point closer to where I grip the bow.

If it's going to be asymmetrical then the top limb is almost always the longer. I've never seen an example of the opposite.
