Snaky little longbow
« on: June 05, 2014, 05:02:12 pm »
This is a short "longbow" I teased out of a twisty piece of red oak. She is 61" nock to nock and about 50lbs between 28 and 30" of draw. I'm only drawing 29" in the pictures though. She took 2" of set. Has ipé overlays and now I think I could have probably flipped the tips too even though there is some funkiness in the outer limbs.

Real nice bow Dauntless. The simple style bows look great when well done and this one was done very well.

Nice bow. The front profile has just enough character to set it off.
