New steel knives..
« on: June 04, 2014, 11:05:23 pm »
I've been making a few steel knives lately..The 2 with antler handles are from old files(3/4) tang..the rest are from old bandsaw blades and circular saw blades..

These 2 are my favorites..Cocobala and Russian Olivewood handles with super glue finish..20 coats each and then sanded with 2000 grit paper and buffed with Mothers metal polish(works good on the super glue cause its real fine)
The one on the left is my personal knife and I really like it

Nice work, I love using Russian Olive it's not used vary often but it's a super tough beautiful wood.

Nice knives and sheaths, Bill. Is that what you wanted the snake skins for?
