New twist on life
« on: June 03, 2014, 05:48:26 pm »
Have not updated on here much of late as lots going on.  Tomorrow morning at 8 am I go to Richmond Va. to see my Dr. to see what implant he is going to do to restore my hearing.  I have gone deaf in the left ear, and now only have 10% left in the right.  Not sure which one he will feel best for me, but at this point I will take just about any thing.

Go back to Richmond on Thursday morning for the evalusation and fitting and the scheduleing of the surgery.

I then get to go to a neuro specialist on the 11th of this month to see if he can make any kind of connection on this on going imbalance issue between my eyes and what is left of my inner ear vestibular function.

Hopefully, at some point this month, I can get some resolve on all these issues, and get my self back to a state that I can come to Tenn soon.  Sure did miss not being at the classic.

So please, once again, put me in your prayers.
Thanks
Charlie

I will be having the Cochlear Implant Surgery on July 1st.  After a month they will attach it and program and I should be able to hear again on my left side.  But, I now have to get a hearing aid for my right side, that has now gone to sever hearing loss.  Going to use the hearing aid on that side until the left side get working, and then will probably have to have an implant on that side.

Looks like my next 2 months have a full plate, but I will try and keep everyone updated as I can for those who have been so nice with your thoughts and prayers for me.  I am truly a blessed man, and I thank you all.
