Bow pictures for J.W. Halverson
« on: April 27, 2014, 01:30:23 pm »
Hope this is the right spot to post this. Here are the pictures I promised you J.W. of me shooting the “Asian style” bow I got from you shooting off one of our equines. I figured out the thumb draw for the most part, but am having “issues” with the rest of it. I’ll get it eventually. Bow is great !!

LOL Riding backwards shooting a bow off a horse. I think I would have a disaster.

I knew something didn't look quite right. I thought maybe he was holding the bow upside down.  ::)

Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

Had that bow for 10 years and love(d) the way it shot, smoothest draw I ever felt, spit light arrows with convincing authority and was pretty much unconcerned with what spine the arrow had...the bow had no great preferences.

Gonna miss that bow, but at least now it is going to get used for what it was designed to do...be shot off  horseback.

I laughed at the pics and the comments. Saw it right off myself.

I saw the name Bonnie right off the bat then after reading a few posts, thought maybe it was a male Bonnie. This post really has had some strange twists and turns, never mind the directions. Of the horse that is.
Mighty fine form there Bonnie;^)
