tried to do this last year...gonna start small and maybe do a bow building, knapp-in, primitive skills thing first just to gauge interest ...so anybody in Texas up for it...no date yet  but have access to Welch Park at Lake Somerville, the plus is.we get to meet ftf,,,and see just how old and battered we all are!   post in this thread so i can get an idea of interest...shooting for maybe MAY ..before it gets too dang hot!!    lol

I'll be there whenever you decide to set the date. Bandsaw and all. Bow building event prefered. Set a date for May 10 or so. That's the saturday after the classic, and my wife will still be gone i hope  >:D

Course that will also mean that anyone who attended the classic will have used up all their brownie points with the wife. Might now be any left over for another one so soon.

let me check on that date (may 10),, seems awful close to the classic though..might be ok..not everyome goes to the classic because of distance,,so Texas boys might be able to show up a bit easier.  gonna see if we can get a couple pigs to cook up....thinking out a couple of things.  even if this ends up just four or five guys ...at least we can say we hung out and met.

alright  ...let me get the ball rolling ..ill check on the date with the park..and see how that goes..and wrk on gettin some pigs and all that stuff..will let yall know soon...IM PUMPED!!!
