Chips off the old block!  That's awesome Daddy!  Nothing feels better than to share our passion with our kids!  Kudos to you wife as well!  I show my wife a finished bow I've worked for a few weeks on and she says, "oh ok".   :o :P
Thanks,

My younger one ,Isaac (Biscuit), has hacked around on various scraps and generally ends up just slaying various evil beasts of his imagination with an Osage sword.

You are a lucky man.  I chose to not have kids in this life and I have to slay my own monsters!  Count your blessings!

Chips off the old block!

Shavings off the old stave?

Call it what you will, but it's pure wonderful as far as I can see.  Pure, distilled wonderful!

Sometimes I like your posts, sometimes I dislike them, but this post I love! Nicely done sir.  Bows will break, crack or rot, but the time and memories you spent with your family can't be taken from you.

Thats a great way to make some family memories Chris, looks like everyone was having a good time too. Who knows, after they get a couple bows under their belt they become just like dad and start cranking some killer work at breakneck speed. Have fun with em' brother, they grow up before you know it. :)
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

That's really cool, glad you could get the family involved! When I started my wife complained a little, now I find her coming out to the garage to see what I'm doing and she actually helped me clean up some sinew. And draw out a board bow the other day.
