Lock Your Wife/Girlfriend and Your Dog in the trunk of the Car for a couple of hours and then open it. Guess who will happy to see You  ! Bob

Not much you can say to a statement like that except that it is somewhat distasteful.   The truth of the matter is that the Dog will be happy to see anyone in that case, even your worst enemy.
