well lassen volcanic national park is close to oregon. if we get the oregon guys to come down we can reserve a group camp site and have 10-25 people there. its five hours from me, about two hours from you and 6 from Bend Oregon. we'd all have to drive a ways but it can work.

There is a little gathering in early summer we do, but more is always better I do believe! I would be more than happy to help organize another event either in the forests of Mt Hood or the far southern forests of Soda Mountain.

Lol........I'm a stickler for correct geographic names....what your referring too is actually called Hood Mountain...not mount hood....wylden is referring to the famed and highest peak in Oregon (north Oregon and east of portland) called Mt Hood.... ;) ..now ya know,n ya won't find yourself the only bowyer there scratching your head wondering where everyone else is

Fyi The Oregon boys used to(still do? ? ) meet in centralish Oregon near sisters? Still a bit longish for you tho....

Why not contact everyone ya know and organize it yourself? Or plan it during and at one of your regional trad shoots? That works for a lot of folks as well as there is also a course to shoot as well...plus its a good intro and demonstration for those ripe for the pickings to turn into your fellow bowyer ;) ..most glass guys are a hair away from trying to make there own bow ya know ;)
