Black cherry and elm takedown

Hello all-i know these three pc. takedowns aren't everyones cup of tea,but i really like how they handle and shoot,this one has a black cherry riser and elm limbs from a bow i had in the corner of shame!It made a sweet shooting bow 60" long 45# @27"draw.Black cherry tips and snake skin strike plate.Finished with teak oil.Thanks for looking-hammertime

Very nice takedown,  +2 on the wood, weight and draw.  suites me just fine....   Can you elaborate on the takedown hardware used..?

Thanks guys sure the hardware is just 1 1/2 hardware store nut and bolts..i counter-sunk so the nuts/washer/bolt wouldn't be so obnoxious.The alignment pins are old aluminum arrow point inserts i used epoxy to hold them in.I think Marc st Louis did an article on these awhile back-Hammertime

Looks cool!  Just a few questions.

How long are the limbs?  How long is the riser?  What is the angle of the limbs coming off of the riser?

arrowind-thanks...riser is 13"..limbs 27" as far a angle i believe when i started with a square block i cut it at 10 degrees but that was to much so i cut those wedges creating more like 5 degrees. the wedges you see are erc... epoxy on-hammertime
