WOW,guys thanks SO much...the words really mean alot...i have a hard time thinking my work is any good...MY wife tells me i do a great job..BUT,its hard for me to accept that for some reason..OR i think i can do better..thanks again...john

...If I was actually going to do a Pit River Style, it would be reflexed.  I don't know if they had a flat bow design but we only get to see a glimpse into the past, so, maybe, maybe not...
I'm sure there were as many styles then we've just been lucky enough to find a few of them. I would say this is a logical design. If not, it's one the elders would adopt as a standard. Great work John and thanks for sharing!  How's it shoot?

That's a wonderful bow John. I've yet to build a bow like that, but when I do I have this one bookmarked as my inspiration.
