It was the better part of a week or so.
I think I spent more time orientating the antlers securely.
Keeping the ears intact was chalenging.

I carved this one out of a barrier island pine tree.
It was the victim of a hurricane. Folks used to leave all sorts of offerings,
including Joe Cain Madi Gras beads. lol
The care taker was transferred and the piece fell victim to termites and disappeared.

Hey JW, My buddy finally coughed up the antler he promised me.
Pretty small but it gives me some idea of proportion.
