Jordan, I think I sent you a higher proportion of raw stone than I sent to Elijah (I can't remember).  Try heating some of the tough stone if you are having trouble with it.

ill give it a try, it seems like its super picky about needing a good platform and even then i have to hit it really hard.

the gray stuff is really good though, i had a nice point almost done till i snapped off the barb.
