A little character for my little character

My girl of 5 got this after school today.
Osage 40" drawing about 18# at 17" but she won't get there for a while. She helped me pick out tissue paper and we spliced it with TB3 to get the vines on the limbs long enough. 2 coates tru oil. 3 holes clear through. She's pretty stuborn and after I showed her one time to nock an arrow, she wouldn't let me help anymore tonight  I really don't know where she gets that trait
Purse leather handle with ERC wedge for rest. Single nock on upper. Zippy little bow!

Thats a cool little bow, a one of a kinda with that finish and I love the character in it. Has a nice bend as well and thats not always easy to do in those kids bows. She looks pleased with it as she should be, nice to see.

Awesome. The best part is the way these little ones take to the bows. So natural for them . What's the story with the other one? Beautiful little girl you have there by the way. My hope with my daughter is that if I toughen her up with enough manly knowledge like using weapons, power tools etc., that most boys will be scared off and only the really good ones will be left

Wow, thanks everybody! I think I have tried harder on these kids bows than some others. They have been real fun actually. Had to get em both done at the same time or someone might have got a tip in the eye during the struggle

Really sweet bow and a happy young 'un.
I've just showed a friend how to make a bow for his sons christmas present. It'll be fun watching him shoot it, kids just love bows.
