Looks like you did a good job to me. Don't sweat the set, either. 1 1/2"-2" of set is normal- especially for a hickory bow, and it won't hurt a thing.All bows take some set during tillering, if you don't want any string follow, you pretty much have to reflex the stave before tillering so that the set takes place in front of the bow instead of behind it-set is going to happen.
