Witch  bow is that ? Looks a little like your yard sale yew. If it never gets cold , do yer critters always have fleas and ticks ?

Great pictures making me feel a bit warmer looking at them .

..................The "tree rat" in last photo was taken outta this tree. Thats what we call a flag pond down here in foreground. Gabrielle "gabby the gator" lives here most of the year except when it gets full of"slime" like it does at this time of year. My camp is about 100 yards behind the trees. Gabby visits reguarly when Iam huntin' an in camp. Wants a bit of pork fer her dinner. Always have the trimmin's fer her then she takes it an goes back ta pond. ;D See ifn I can get a picture of her next week when I go ta camp. Next post we will go back inta oak grove. This was an aside hope ya liked it............bob

Cool pics Bob. Reminds me a lot of the Low Country of SC. and Coastal GA. Sawtooth palmettos, cabbage palms and myrtle bushes. I'm enjoying your hunt! ;)    Pat

.................................I had a few pics of "gabby the gator" in my folder. First couple shes "catchin' rays and zzzz-zzzz ! ;D My camp is bout 100 yards from where ya see her. When I get a hawg an I clean it in camp she comes up and wants ta eat some ! I always saves her some of the ham and intestines. BIG girl aint she ? :o She is a "sweetie." Has provided me with lots of laughs when she comes up behind my guests ifn I have them and bellows fer dinner. I has "guest birds" in the trees.  ;D Last she is goin' back in water. Iam goin' ta camp next week and will see ifn I can get a closer pic of her. Look in middle of last photo ta see her enterin' water. Hope ya enjoy the asides from tree rats...............bob

Love it bob, but it sure is different than what I'm used to.

I was up huntin' tree rats in Lakeland area with Eddie (mullet) and Charlie (Indian Charlie ) this past weekend. Had a good time . Here are a few pics of the "voods" Its different up in central florida than where I come from south florida. The understory is usually not that bad. The biggest thing is the oak trees are HUGE. Here a big one is say 30 er so ft up there 60 ft er more is common..........bob
