Some cowboy rocks

 Since Cowboy was generous enough to send me some great rocks, I figured I'd share the pics with you. I heat treated them in my fire pit. The rock was all top notch!  thanks Paul!  All antler tools as usual

Very nice, Ryan. I guess I'm going to throw some in the kiln. Seems like it is working for everybody else with the heat treat.

I need to heat some up also.They knapped OK raw,maybe a little heat to slick em' up

thanks guys.

Prarie bowyer- I dont know if I'd use a webber grill as it may heat up and cool down too quick... but I don't know. I am sure someone has done it. I bury mine in dry sand about 3 inches down and build a nice even fire over them for  about 4-6 hours then let die all by itself and dig up 2 days after and they are usually still pretty hot. Just make sure there is no rain in the forcast
