I was talking to a girl I work with today and she was telling me about a yard sale her parents had. She had mentioned it several times over the past few weeks but she lives 45 minutes from me so I didn't attend. The yardsale was her grandparents estate.
Now that it is over she started telling me that her great grandfather was a carpenter and all of his old wood working tools were in the sale so I started asking about stuff. She said they sold a box full of old rasps for $1 a piece and 4-5 drawknives for $3. I'm dumbfounded. She said her great grandfather was very particular and it was all in real good shape. I sit 10 feet from this girl and talk to her everyday and I missed out on all of that. I've been really wanting to find a good rasp since I don't have one. So frustrating.
