Building my teardrop camper "WIP" build along
« on: September 17, 2013, 11:23:19 am »
Well another post on here has inspired me to convert my old popup into a teardrop camper my tent is all sun rotten and they want 1800$ for a new tent :'(. I just cant justify buying a new tent and  12 years down the road il have to replace it again for even more money. So a teardrop conversion seems to be more economical i wont have to replace a tent ever again :). So the first thing that needs to be done is to demolish this popup. I plan to reuse as much of the interior like stove, sink ect..... And salvage all the popup parts to resale or trade to someone that can use them no need to let good things go to waste. I only have  mornings before work  and weekends to work on it so itl prolly take a month or two to finish  8) time for pics

And the woodants have moved in also just another reason to do this project

The great sunbrella material that failed after many years of camping

This will be a good one.  Can't wait to see the outcome.  Doing it yourself will be better than anything you buy.
