I knew you'd pull it off, what ya missed # by 2 #, not like ya had any room for error, you are the evil master of the short bow Rich, bub
failure is an option, everyone fails, it's how you handle it that matters.

Real nice bow and quite the accomplishment to get that weight and draw and still in one piece. Looks like a fun one to shoot as well.
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

Holy cow, Rich! Just how short is TOO SHORT, for you???!! :o
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

If your disappointed about hitting the hunting weight I can solve that, hunting weight here in Arkansas is 40# if you know what I mean.  ;)  Beautiful little bow, and a perfect circular tiller for 17.5" draw Ill bet it really slings out an arrow.

That is simply amazing...I really enjoy seeing and reading about your bows... I like short bows for blind hunting...you could hunt out of a hollow log with that one.

I have arrows longer than that thing. I would describe the dimensions in millimetres next time might make you feel better

Great stuff as always.

I say sinew back it, pick up a few #'s and a couple inches.  Bet you'll enjoy it even more.
I just did a 50" equivalent but it has a knot just past mid-limb.  I'm going to do another Osage shorty and sinew back it, but with a clean piece to have all wood working equally and maybe cut length to 46-48".  Awesome example, Rich.

Very nice Rich, but now you got me wanting to build one. Gotta find a tiny Osage stave.
