French's brown spicy mustard took about 15 minutes to do that!

How do you use the mustard to patina the blade.

It works best with high carbon, you just put a thin layer on and make some marks with a brush or a toothpick. The areas with the thinnest mustard get darker. I just leave it on until it dries and wash it off.
