2013 Trade Bow
« on: August 14, 2013, 05:41:46 pm »
It's ready to ship to my victim.  It's 53" n2n osage.  1.3" at the fades to half way out the limbs.  It pulls 54 @ 26.  It shoots hard and accurately.  The tip overlays are from a cow horn I bought as fox horn back in the 70's.  Later, I gave it to my grandfather.  When he passed away I got it back.

I did a little something different with the handle wrap.  I won't to play with different textures, so this is what I came up with. Natural hemp twine wrapped over the leather build-up, then a partial black leather wrap with a rat snake inlay to match the backing.

I kinda hate to let this one go.  But, I take pride in sending it to the state of my birth.  Actually, it will be living about 50 miles from where I was born, as the crow flies.

Thanks for looking.
