superglue question

i have a piece of wood that i am working on and it had cracks so i put some super glue on them...come i find out i have to do some steaming in the same area...SO,does any one know what will happen to the glue if steamed...thanks..

The steam do nothing to CA glue.
If you need to bend it a lot where its glued it might crack a bit tho.
Still not a big problem.
It's better to ask and look like a fool than not to ask and remain one...

I'm new to this but I've built R/C sailboats for years and I use super glue to seal/waterproof exposed wood. It works great. Because of this I would suspect that it would stop the steam from penetrating that area. That said, I have read that it's more the heat than the steam that allows you to bend the wood. Just my $.01 worth.

Steam is fine John, dry heat it and it will burn your eyes out and poison you.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.
