« on: August 04, 2013, 02:09:24 pm »
Hey all. No good deed goes unpunished as the old sayin goes, lol... My girl and i went to a horseshoe tournement yesterday to benefit some one in need.... I had just thrown a ringer... when i turned to walk away....well my knee cap turned.. but my leg didnt... Kinda weird when you can see your knee cap at a right angle to your leg, lol... They put it back in place and luckely nothin was torn. Gonna be laid up atleast a week. Its all good just sore now.... So..... How was everyone elses weekend, lol? ;D

You want a bow for your girlfriend?  I'll trade you straight up for any bow in my house!  She sounds like a keeper.  >:D

Sorry to hear about your misfortunate knee. Let it heal my friend! We don't fix as quick as we used to.  ;)
Tell "Whats Her Name" we are looking forward to meeting her at the classic.  ;)  I'll even makle a string for her!  ;)

Doesn't sound like any fun at all. And you better be nice to the lady, you can't outrun her for a while now. :)

Sorry to hear about the knee. I had one minor knee surgery years ago. No problems since. My weekend was awesome! Had my 3rd annual Knap In here in Yosemite National Park. Had a guy who has 4 worlds strongest man titles! Awesome guy. About 10 knappers, A few students, lots of visitors and invitations to go salmon fishing in April and Dungeness crabbing in November! got some more material and some more on the way. Great Weekend!
Talk about ouch - Grog was working on a piece and Ken was about four feet away. grog takes a big swing at a piece and the next thing we know Ken is bleeding! Seems like a chip of grogs piece went the four feet and hit one on the veins in the back of kens hand! Never did find the culprit. Got ken closed up real quick and continued the rock busting. Most of these guys work Obsidian so all in all the blood bath was kept to a minimum!  Google Grog Verbeck and check out some of his work. He is also a chef. You can also see Phil Martin in Worlds Strongest man competition videos.
