I hate hickory, but that's a pretty bow. Well done.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Thanks guys, and not just for the kind words.
Everyone say read the Bowyers bible and learn to make a bow..and yes it contains a lot of good info BUT!
The skill to make a bow is more in those little tricks and handgrips and other small things to watch out for.
That is what i have learnt over the time i have been hanging around here...So in short, Thanks for teaching  me to make a bow.

That's a beauty!  Very nicely done Sir!  Unlike Eddie, I loves hickory!  Of course that might have something to do with location and climate.  Josh

Here's a tip:  That was not a "board" bow, just a mechanically decrowned stave!   >:D

Ain't nothing wrong with that bow, I love it.  Your tip overlays are simple and elegant.  The grip is an interesting looking material, it would have to be a very solid grip with that texture.  Nice, indeed.

"mechanically decrowned stave" Haha,i have to remember that one, fact is i payed extra to get good boards with almost no runoffs so its almost true.
The grip is very solid indeed, and it really hammer home my 540gn arrows .

Unlike "mechanically separated chicken", I will make use of a mechanically decrowned stave.

I should be copywriting some of these terms.

NICE BOW!   I love hickory.  And to Gun Doc's point I live in AZ where it's very dry most of the time.  Hickory is great here.  Anyway NICE BOW!
Love the narrow tips.  the tiller looks great.
Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

Man, I just keep going back to that full draw pic.  That is a sweet bend on that hickory stick.  Good work.  I am a hickory fan too, in spite of being from the humid deep south.  My bows live indoors in the air conditioning so I don't have a complaint with hickory at all.

You have made a very nice bow, I love the contrast handle/tips.
The rubber of the handle looks cool btw.
