Haha, if he draws that bow any farther, he'd be drawing yumi style! (maybe thats what you should make him next,  >:D). Awesome bow. He's got better groupings than I do!  ;D Tiller is really picture perfect too.
"The way of heaven is like the bending of a bow-

the lower part is raised up,
the part that has too much is reduced,
the part that has too little is increased."

That is a sweet bend on that little bow.  Looks like you have a happy camper!  Nice work!

Thanks for all the feedback everyone!  This success is thanks to all of you here on the PA forums.  I don't post much, but I have learned so much from seeing the projects and build-a-longs shared here over the past 2 years.  I have seen so many perfectly tillered bows shared here it was bound to start influencing me in the right direction :)  Now to finally get around to finishing that ELB for dad!  ;D

I just updated the specs for you in the original post.  Since I was using hickory backed red oak I also trapped the back along most of the limb to keep it from overpowering the oak.  I would not recommend the hickory/red oak combo from past experiences.  I used it for this bow because it was a scrap that was already glued up, and I figured the low draw weight would not overpower it.
