Show us your Archery Related Leathercraft
« on: July 17, 2013, 06:43:57 pm »
Morning Folks, I just Finished reading the thread asking for a Leathercraft Sub Forum on Primitive Archer and I thought it might be a good thing to keep a Thread running where members can post Pics of their Archery Related Leather and Rawhide Goodies. Here's a few of mine to get the Ball Rolling

Really nice work and photography Jacko..................Here is some of my stuff, not as nice as yours, and maybe not real primitive, but I use it all the time.
My photography isn't that great either

Great work guys!  Steve, post some of your stuff.  You make some fine leather goods.  My leather work is very poor.  I admire the fine work you guys can create.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Nice work, guys!

Good looking Work and appreciated comments so far Folks, thankyou.

I often muse that Bows are the sexy Part of Traditional / Primitive Archery and that Arrows are the most underrated and important. Whats that old saying - any Stick will shoot an Arrow but a good Arrow is a heap of work ?? When you think about it Quivers, Knife Sheaths etc are often with us for decades, I know Blokes who still use Leather Quivers they made or Bought back in the 70's and have owned dozens of Bows and broken thousands of Arrows in that same time.

Keep the Pics coming Folks, new or old does not matter

Nice stuff guys.   Jacko what did you use for a backing on those two bows toward the bottom of your first post?
