Simple as it gets Osage "D" bow
« on: June 21, 2013, 06:07:12 pm »
Simple Osage D bow 61 inchs long pulling just over 55# at 26 and pushing 60 at 27. This bow was probably the easiest bow I've ever made it has some pretty tight rings but caused me no problems chasing the back ring. I left a few tool marks in it The tiller isn't perfect but half the bow is perfectly straight and the half has got a reflex deflex thing to it so keep that in mind I love these bend in the handle bow there so fun I don't shoot any of my other bows now lol

cool bow, from the looks of it you did a great job chasing that ring. it should make you some meat for sure.

Looks good Joe.
I know what you mean about D-bows. I don't shoot my handle bows much either.

Too critical, it bends nicely and has an overall appealing look!

Sweet! I like them bendies, myself?
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
