I have been watching you guys for a while,but never posted.Great site!!! Here is some stuff i need to finish.....

The preform is some heat treated rock or what we call bull rock from the colorado river in wharton county.As for the other ones that is a good question.I heated these from my scrap pile.I know that one rock was some stuff that was given to me by one of your members.It came from i beleive central texas.I don't have good quality stone here so i have to really struggle with river rocks.Most are round,some are too glassy,some will work raw,but heat will make them work better.

Tower,I went back in my brain and the second and third from the left is some stuff you gave me.I heated it in a roaster.

Ahh thanks. Haven't heard of needville. Brothers in LaPorte. You could do like Eddie and hit all the parking lot islands for flint. Ya know come to think of it, if ya know where sea wolf park is in Galveston. Last time I was there the banks were eroded pretty bad and part of the fill for the park is pedernales chert. Low tide is best :).
