 Well, it was an experiment.
I had this 3/4" by 3/4"/46" board sitting in the corner of the shop. I decided to do something with it--so I made a kid's molly bow! ;D
it's 24 lbs @ 25" but....this is the special part.
That unfletched arrow shaft with the bodkin point is 32" from the nock to the base of the bodkin.
And somehow I am able to draw the bow all the way to 32 without breaking it..!!?? :o
the levers are both 6.5", and the handle area is 5" stiff.
it's great fun shooting that unfletched 1/4 lb shaft off this bow and watching it fly in this great arc...I am drawing it 32" and shooting at almost a 30 degree angle to hit the mark at 20 yards!! ;D

Sweet, tiller looks great to me! Cool bow! I might of missed it, but what wood is it?

Nice bow, great bend on it lol. it probably survived because of the low poundage.

yeah, that's what I was thinking. it was my first molly though, so I made it lighter, and it's lighter than I wanted it to be also...cause dont we all know how hard it is to tiller a kid's bow...you fart and the tiller changes. I got so caught up in trying to perfect the tiller that I didn't notice the weight had dropped probably 15 pounds at least. ;D

Did you glue on a risor? And are the tips and handle measurements including the fades? Thanks.

Nice looking bow, I'd love to see a video of that 1/4 lb shaft arcing towards the target, it must be cool.

I dunno. Like I said, I'm not really sure how I managed to do this. I was very surprised when I got it all the way to 28" in the first place because the center of the board had a lot of violation at a grain swirl--that's why I had to make such a large stiff handle.
