I just want to get the word out about "echoes in time" . It's a week of workshops in mid July at Champoeg State park near Salem OR. Classes in the past have included Bow making, flint knapping, braintan, felting, basketry, dyes, blacksmithing, atl-atl and dart, foraging, lots of kids activities, goats, nutria tacos, edible insects, chinook jargon, tattoo, and a hundred others. I am an instructor and have taught bow making and alt-atls leatly. It's a small gathering of about 150-200 people. Cost is $180 for a week or $45 for a day- that's all the classes you can fit in in 5 days. Most classes are free, some charge a materials fee such as bow making where you'd pay for a stave.
