More of the same...
« on: May 22, 2013, 03:29:49 pm »
I got involved in a trade the other day (snakes for rocks.) This is what I came up with. Still need to finish the leather work, but the stone work is complete.

Hunting points turned out between 130-140. The blade is Burlington, with antler and mesquite handle.

Yep, Eddie, the trade was mutually beneficial.  ::)

Little hunter: these are the perfect hunting point far as I'm concerned. Sort of a kahokia side notch that I have come to like alot. Super sharp and long thin tips part the skin with authority! Those obsidian points might not be very durable, but I wouldn't want one shot at me.

Beautiful points, matched very well. That jet black obsidian is my favorite, it just looks deadly. I wish that I could match points that well!

Thanks guys. I enjoy making them, and I love huntin with em!

Tower: there is a pic of it in the trading section (but there were a few more skins added afterward! Like I said "mutually beneficial"!!)

Scallorn: I'm partial to the red ones myself...  ::) but black is fine to start with.  ;D

Jon: yep, that style does look good with a stone blade!

Art: glad ya like them, but please do me the honor of using them, they were not made to drool on.   ;)
