Grad present bow from the Classic
« on: May 16, 2013, 01:39:06 pm »
Here's the second bow I made at the classic. It was a belly split off the bow I made for myself. Good piece of sage from osage outlaw (Thanks man!). I wanted this one to slightly resemble the first bow from the Hunger Games movie, even if she never realizes it. If I remember correctly it's 60" ntn and 30 something #'s at 26", 1.5" to mid limb tapering to 3/8" tips. Purple heart handle and tips. Also made her a matching set of arrows and a quiver as part of a package. Thanks for looking!

Sweet, love that purple heart. And as a hunger games fan, that quiver is awesome man.

Very nice kit, I've come to expect nothing less, though. Keep up the good work...whatever the wood!

Very nice, Ryan!  Like the whole set.  You should've brought it over to my house so I could look at it in person.   ;) >:D

Nice job on it Ryan.  I'm glad you were able to get two bows out of that stave.  The quiver and arrows top it off nicely.  I'm sure she will like it.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Cool kit there Ryan.  That is sweet hole.

Totally awesome, again,  Ryan! That "friend" of yours will really like it...I'm sure. She must be pretty special...you smiled every time you mentioned her...and you used the "best" wood for her bow.
