Hello...thought I would share my latest.I had this short piece of hickory I carved into a snakey bow,then I heat treated,then sinewed.Turned out pretty cool and shoots real sweet!tillers far from perfect though!The tips are maple, bacote and black cherry.54" long,52#@26" of draw.Thanks for looking hammertime

Hickory is super mean wood to take that for even one full draw.

that's cool, i still think i'd wear a helmet :o ;)

I've thought about taking a heat gun to an osage stave and making it snakey like that.

the bottom limb looks the best...very creative bow...but like you say, the tiller needs some work...
