Thanks again lads!
S S Yes the levers are just tied on with 24 ft of dacron bow thread. I rub a sticky blue" Swix" cross country ski wax between the levers and limbs to prevent rotation of levers. You could also use toilet bowl wax gasket, asphaltum or birch bark tar. You also can build this bow with out any bolts. Just use 1/4" dowel threw the two handle holes and wrap with a strong thread. Check out my red oak board bow below. 60 plus lbs @31. Just a riff cut red oak board from Lowe's.  cheers fiddler49

very very cool,

With an overlapping design it doesnt need 2 removable screws (or dowels) to keep it together, you can use 1 permanent and 1 removeable and then just fold it up.

That's me great to see ya on here!  Building my dream bow shop and archery range this summer near Spokane !  There are more Alaskans down in my area than in Alaska!  We call it Alaska light!  More critters to kill too!

Excellent. V interesting, some nice 'primitive engineering' (e.g simple, reliable and better than a shed load of electronics and crap that so much modern stuff is ull of)
