Even in a sour mood, I still can't find anything to complain about in that bow!  Thanks for turning my day around.  I bet she loves it with all her heart and soul.

Sweet bow! Love the cobia skins. How did youtreat them? We catch cobia all the time and it never occured to me to use them. I have looked and drooled over the bows on this forum with the sturgeon skin. G should be a happy girl!

I have a friend that is a fish monger in Boise Id.  He gave me just the fresh skin frozen I got all of the remaining flesh off with a spoon, then rubbed Dawn dish soap on them and rinsed em.  I die scaled them while I was rinsing.  Then stapled them to a board to dry.  Thanks for the nice comments. :) :) :) :)

Fantastic bow-  your niece will be one very happy little archer!

You might want to consider making arrows for it which are just over the 20" draw length.  That will help prevent older or bigger kids from overdrawing and damaging a such a great bow.   For the 20# draw weight, they'll likely be too stiff so, consider full length tapering them to 7/32" plastic nocks.  Here's some 23" ramin arrows made that way:
