Powder Inc will ship in 5# lots but the delivered price jumps to $23.90 a pound, the hazmat fee is the same for one pound or 50 pounds. No mention on their order page about not shipping to NY. Usually there is such a statement if there is a state they won't ship to. There was a run on BP just like regular ammo so there is about a month wait to get your order filled.

Gander Mountain and Bass Pro usually have it for about the same price but you have to ask for it as they keep their stock in the back, not on the shelves. Some of the employees they have on the floor don't even know they carry it so you have to ask several to know for sure if they do or don't have it.

I could kick myself for not buying a brick of .22 ammo about a month ago from a local sporting
goods store. They had several cases of it, were limiting it to one brick per customer.
I'll keep looking I reckon....

More than 5 pounds of ammo is illegal here? Where are you fining these laws? I'm curious how many are affecting me and I don't even know it.

So if the "ammo scarcity" is due to hunting, shooting, rooting, tooting good O'l boys buying it up out of fear is true.. Well that's just plain dumb..

A friend of mine is going to shooting air rifles now.Expensive reset up but there is ammunition available and I guess they really do pack a punch.

Air guns are definitely a good option. Cheap to shoot and ammo is still available.
