I thought I was cold in Idaho last week. I see why everybody comes to Florida.

bub I live in the Pacific North West, Van Isle,  and we have been really, really really, really, really, really  Lucky our winter was about 2 inches of snow before Xmas,............that was it.....but it has been kind of chilly at nite.

They speak of Global Warming.!  Why when I was a kid did we always had lots of snow at Xmas and our Summers started in May not July.  Now we rarely have snow in the winter and our summers do not start till July and sometimes run into October. You could see the change in the late 70's...... ???

I had to mow the lawn a few days ago.  Half of the garden is already planted.  Hang in there Rich.  When you have had enough, come see me! :D

Well hell Rich, maybe it is you that is gettin' kinda old >:D. Myself, I need to cut the grass and weed eat. My wife says to put up the jackets that I wear to
walk almost 200yds. inside my work place but I need 'em cause it sometimes gets down to 35 and even rains a lot. Brutal.

But, like you, I endeavor to persevere.

It's spring I'm told.  Woke up this morning to 7 below and three new inches of snow.  They say we need the moisture and I'm sure its true, but when a fellow wants to be in the hills it makes me blue.  I just know all those elk sheds are just waiting for me.  Just hope it clears up so the horns I can see.  So all "you alls' basking in 60 degrees just be thankful the snow is not up to your knees! by jez by jez!   Joe

Rich, I feel your pain, I live just outside of Erie and we get the same type of lake effect snows and anything else that seems to come across the lakes, we got about a foot of fresh snow on thurs. I saw a dead robin today, kinda hard to catch worms under a 12" snow cover, Redwing blackbirds are here so I'm hoping springs not far behind but I'm not holding my breath." Springs along time coming this high up ."Later Bob
