I drove past a place yesterday where they had pushed over 3/4 mile long fencerow of hedge here in Western Missouri.  Lotsa staves just laying on the ground...

long day today,split  over a 100 staves and hauled out 20plus logs,,here are some photos,,  also pat I found u a nice small diameter log with lots of back set,,

heading to osage woods this morn,,have my dad to help today,,have a really large tree to cut today they are usually not fun,,will post some pics tonite we will see what happens,,

Nice haul.  I was lucky enough to locate a couple dozen osage trees just 20 mins from the house....which is rare here in Oregon.  Now I just have to go knock on the door.

you need lots of osage to pick over only 1 out of a 1000 is good enough for bows,,it takes 1000s of trees to cut these loads,,

here is a photo of todays load,, I think probably close to 300 bows on this load,,i so tired  I need a break,,have to stay after it,,i figure the sap will come up next week time to cut running out,
