Made these tools today...
« on: March 18, 2013, 07:27:18 pm »
I made myself a set of tools today, and will get to work on some agatized coral I found near my house. Its been about 10 years since I have done any flintknapping hope I still got it ! These are made with White Oak handles.

If anybody in the Tampa Bay area wants to get together and break some rock and possibly give me some pointers I am more than willing !

Thanks for lookin...

Nice set of tools. I'd rap some sinew around the bigger flakers they may slipt on you. I've used raw hide on my abo bone handles.

Good looking set of tools. You're welcome over here anytime if you can catch me home, it's Turkey season. I'll be heading to S.C. next weekend for a week.
