Primitive art
« on: March 16, 2013, 12:21:48 pm »
My daughter Sam(10), had an art project at school and ended up making this. She is always hanging around the knapping pit, shooting her bow, and tracking deer with me. Now I have someone to do art on my bows.

Very nice.  Have Sam check out the art from the Lascaux and Chauvet caves in France.

She says that is what they referenced in class before doing it. She also says thank you for the comments everyone!

Nice work Sam!  8)
Tracy, strip out some rawhide backinhg strips and let Sam decorate them. I'd bet you could get lots of folks that would interested in adding a set to the new bow they are building.  ;)

I agree Pat. Heck for that matter post some picture sized drawings in the trade section.sign, date them so when she becomes famous i will have one of the early works. ;D. I would be wiling to trade her something for one. I will frame it up and  proudly display it in My shop/man Cave.

Awesome work Sam!!  Now it looks like we need to get Sam and Silas together, Silas is all into cave art too.  Maybe they can go on a rock run with us and do some pictagraghing together.  Have a gooder Buddy! dpg
