Made some knives today
« on: February 25, 2013, 10:38:05 pm »
I made a whole heap of knives today but a couple really pleased me. the first one is a novaculite knife with an African Springbok horn. the other is a simple neck knife with a fiber wrapped handle. short and stumpy but scary sharp on both sides and a nice beaded neck sheath. I am kinda attached to the neck knife!

The form on that first one is so perfectly ballanced it gives me goosebumps. It looks like something from a fairytale. Beautiful Job. The stubby one looks like it's a real workhorse type of knife.I love them.

Wow, that novaculite/springbok is hotter than a streak of sex!  That's just dog-gone pretty!

Love them both! Great attention to detail! You did very nice work on both of those knives. If I had to pick I would say that first job is my favorite.
