tip over lay question?

having mostly done self nocks and flat glue ons,am wondering what type of glue you good folks have used in the past with good results for angle glue ons?thx's  ???

I use smooth on, but you will get many opinions on this. Lots of guys use super glue, or other two part epoxys.

i've used TB2 and superglue.  Both hold fine, gotta be quick with cyano though.  I switched to cyano mainly because i didn't like the yellow glue i couldn't completely get rid of at the transition.  Course i may should have used more pressure to make a thinner glue line.

I've only done a few tip overlays of wood, horn, and ivory.  I used superglue on all of them.  I'll probably keep using it unless I have one fail.

I use the ultra high sofisticated space age J-B WELD. Fills gaps and when dry gives a laminated look.

Superglue for me. I think a gel type works best or at least something fairly viscous.

Any of the TB glues, super glue or 2ton epoxy.

TBIII never had any failures and I can start (careful) shaping after about 4 hrs dry time.

I like medium thickness super glue.  I have started shaping within 20 mins.

Likewise. I dunk mine in water and start much faster than slow poke Carson's 20 minutes.
