Well I have been trying to get the hang of making horn nocks lately, so I decided to practice on this osage longbow (here is a link to the bow I am talking about:

I also have to thank you Pat B for sharing how you do your built up leather handles, as this bow really needed it, and that was very helpful to me as well. Thank ya guys,
. I don't have any pictures right now to show this I think, but this bow is kinda funky, and has a crazy cross section, which really needed a built up handle to be comfortable in the hand. I cut the bow down a couple inches to 64 3/4" NTN. (Ok, I screwed up the fitting of the bottom nock a couple times, but at least a inch or two were on purpose,
). I tillered it back down to 45# @ 29" also. The handle is just some random leather from tandys, arrow pass is calf hair. String is 3 ply linen as always. I tried to copy some of chris boyton's victorian style nocks. The top is probably too big. The bottom had a hidden check in it, which is the reason it is so small. The bow has 1/4" positive tiller, in the style of a john strunk longbow... which looks a bit weird to me for a longbow to have such a tiller, but it shoots and draws good, so I went with it. Ok, I promise I will stop posting this stupid bow now.
