Well it is off  in the texasish direction... maby >:D

Lol!  Good one!  As a fellow driver I get that one.  For those of you who are not, I'll explain.  Texan truckers consider every state in the union just another part of the republic of Texas.  It doesn't matter where you are in the country, whether it be Florida, Washington, Maine or California and any where in between, if a Texas truckdriver is unhappy with the area he will get on the radio and complain about how much he hates that part of Texas.  So by that standard, this bow could be going anywhere.  You tricky devil Soy!  Lol! I pulled it all out of the fire, what with blowing up a finished bow a week or so ago.  I even managed horn tips and a little "Sturgis Rally Week" effect on the handle wrap.  Will try to ship tomorrow, but I have a minor fire to put out tomorrow.  As much as I love this hobby, this one is business and sometimes poop happens. Worst case scenario, it ships Friday.

However, I did salvage a tip off thebusted bow and sent that off!

Sweet...that could still be me.

I am finish sanding now, finish work will be simple, but this is the sweetest shooting bow I have made to date.  I should be able to get it out tomorrow. Hope my guy likes it.

This is getting exciting, like setting around Christmas Eve waiting on Santa.  And, I even have my bow, already.  So, I'm enjoy watching everyone else open their presents.  ;D

I got a call from the fella that made my bow today while I was shooting at the range. He said it's in the mail. I'm really excited to see it. He's a very experienced bowyer so I'm sure it will be great.

Wow! I've heard about this event, but had no idea the skill on display. I took a few and looked through this thread and I am amazed at the talent on display. One that stood out to me was a bow with rosette carvings on the fades.  You guys are amazing!

Well, I missed the deadline.  The humidity here the last couple days has been killing my last minute finishing efforts.  Just need to sign and then more finish, and a handle wrap.

I know it's late but I'm hoping to have it finished within a week.
