It looks good, I was just wondering because it appeared so white.  Anyone should be proud to own that one.

Plane Jane, all done.

This is going in a tube and heading east, tmrw morning! Of course if you're west of me you either: (1) in Hawaii, (2) in Western Alaska, or (3) in a boat.

After my Red Elm beauty came in light (it was really on the boarder of being a huntable weapon and 5lbs less than my guys minimum preference) I had to work something else out quickly.  Fortunately I had this Eastern Ash blank I had roughed out months ago, laying around. I heated in some R/D and tillered her out.  50# on the nose @ 28."  Bow is 64" long.

I'm afraid this is kinda of a boring board bow (no character or other fun stuff). And the tiller is not perfection. But, it really flings my 500 grain arrows down the range, and after shooting it a bit, I've found it to be very consistent.  I wouldn't hesitate to hunt with it, and therefore I'm happy to send it to someone else.

Hope ____ __ _____  likes it (ooh did I give something away there?  >:D >:D)

And finally, the requisite "on a log" shot  ;) ;)

Man, I gave up a long time ago tryin to decide which one I like the best  :-\  I WANT EM ALL! I'll be happy to get any one of em. There's some great stuff goin on. Here's where my contribution is at:
Had to remove the cool lookin bark on this baby because it was crackin on the top limb. So I'm puttin the proper effigies on this one for good medicine....got out the sable brushes and the mahlstick for the first time in years (have to do it more often). I can only show you half of it because the other half has my guys name on it. It's tough paintin with leather dye kinda like thin watercolors. After a couple of coats of tinted laquer to kill the white. Wanted it to look all paleo and aboriginal and I think I kinda achieved that....looks sorta like a cave painting.........now for some coats of true oil over the whole thing and a cedar bark wrap around the leather handle buildup I did (it'll look like buckskin but more durable). I think I might be a day late on the deadline (story of my life) but it'll be worth it
