It is good to see the bow in your hands k-hat, I had to get her sent out right away cause after our last walk in the woods together I didnt want to let her go. I appreciate your comments too.

I could make up a whopper of a story as to how I got the wood but it was legit.  Hope the bow gives you plenty of shots.

ya i keep going back to admire her every time i walk by.  Glad you brought yourself to let'r go, believe me i know the feeling.  There's a bow in Virginia that i believe has some claw marks on it ;)

Thanks again for a fine shooter.  Lord willing i'll be hunting this fall and this WILL be my hunting bow  8)

I got me a genuine pappy bow!!!!!! I about fell over when he handed it to me. I'm a lucky man for certain.

Congratulations PD, that looked like a sweet bow. I wish Iwas down there at the classic  whooping it up with you all. I bet the trade bows arre flying around about now. Hopefully next year.

I got to see pappy give Chris his bow n a knife too...I knew pappy was building him a bow and it was super hard to keep my mouth shut for the last few months as y'all know Chris and I are good friends and talk everyday...I got some pics of it..I'll try to get some of those up later today ;)

just checking in, got my bow to 20" here, buy my calc's she should be a little over 50# @ 29" if I can get that much bend at 60 1/2" ntn my trade guy did give me some leeway in the draw length, second pic is after me having it strung for an hour or so scraping on her
