I hear ya Fells...

There do seem to be a bunch of Mollys this year...  :)
Have to admit I was thinking of a profile along the lines of one of Ed Scott's bows.
Guess that would be a Molly/Holmegaard style bow streamlined with some seriously Graceful lines.
Similar to the look of ryoon's trade bow in front profile.

But then I started scraping on this sweet piece of Osage.
So instead of shooting for any particular style of bow, I'm gonna let the wood dictate the terms of my surrender... :)

my stave is all roughed out it's 58" hickory I plan to do some statics with a non bending handle and a rawhide back, but for now it needs to season a little longer, im excited its a very nice stave, but my new bandsaw wasn't kind to it so im already having to play doctor a little bit to get the profile right, but it wouldn't be as much fun if it was easy

Now that's my kinda bow Ryan...tip overlays are a must because you can get those last 6" a whole lot skinnier.....looks like one of my bows...hmmmm? I'm positive its a smooth pulling,sweet releasing arrow screamer. Prob no need for string silencers...
