Shipped mine out today..................7-10 day delivery............... stay tuned

Danny f, that's exactly what happened to me last year but I had a good plan B to finish. I'm sure your guy (especially if it was me) will understand. Great bunch of guys on here. I was very nervous this year shooting mine after getting her all finished cuz I didn't want to eff it up again but fortunately SUCCESS!

thanks everyone. i am going to send a pm to my guy and tell him whats goin on. i am working on another now. so hopefully i can get it out there asap. but i am not going to rush just to get one out im taking my time. the bow was made from privet, it was pulling 50# at 28" and shot really nice. the reason for the failure is from sanding a ring off one of the bumps on it and i hadnt noticed. so  it just cracked right across the limb. i will get a pic of it. thanks everyone for being understanding. i hope my guy isnt to dissapointed.

I am sure your recipient will understand.  This community has pretty decent character and if your recipient is lacking the character to understand, it's likely he will keep quiet for fear of losing reputation in this forum. Ever notice the pressure in here to behave well?  It's enormous, consequently everyone behaves quite well for the most part.  Well, that and the overwhelming pressure to stay out of Mullet's little black book.

Whew Fellers.

This Year's trade has truly ridden the Emotional Rollercoaster from Excitement to Disappointment and Jubilance to Heartbreak... And back again.

Better builders than I have said it, but the Truth rings clear.
Endeavor to Persevere, put your best into it, to deliver the best possible bow you can to your recipient.

Well let me take this opportunity to inject some, Hop up and Down, Thigh Slapping, Lip Smacking Jubilation... At least for me that is.

My Trade Bow is Finished!
And The Skins Held and Exceed my Wildest Hopes.
I exercised the Heck out of the finished Bow.
Also put another 25 Arrahs through Her.
And the Skins And Finish are unblemished!

I'll get her wrapped up and ready to ship out Monday Morning.

I'll post the Photos tonight.

Wow great looking bow. I have shot mine for a bit today. worked on the tips and handle needs a bit more sanding then some skins, floppy rest and some leather to cover her handle. Should be ready to go no later then next weekend but I will try my best to get it out mid week.

Oh and what do you think; should I send her out Naked or with a red dress on?

Lightly scrapped the back to give it streaks.

Or corn snake.
