I am right there with you Gabe.  Two roughed out.  Luckily my guy likes em rough ; )

well heres attempt 3 or maybe 4 i am feeling the strain lol . it is an ash backed walnut. pyramid design 64"ttt. i think the tiller is ok, but any extra eyes let me know if it looks ok to you or not. i also got a nice python that had died from a friend who works at a pet store. so if it all turns out i might do my first set of skins too. heres a few pics.

from what I can see it look's pretty good, how much more do ya have to draw it? if it was me and I was happy with tiller i'd get it off the tree get it all rounded off and shape the handle and start shooting it till I got it out to full draw
failure is an option, everyone fails, it's how you handle it that matters.

cheers bubby, i have about 1.5" to go. i will probably put another layer on the handle round off and shoot it in, i put a couple through it today and it shot good. there aint much time for anymore bad luck so im hoping it all holds together.

well my bows survived the trip from Thailand to MN.  Now if I could get my wife to layoff remodeling our house and get them done that would be nice.

I got the cherry bark glued on last night now to fill in the little pockets here and there that did not glue down, get it steel wooled and seal it up, grip it and make a string.  I'm getting there.

Got me a real nice bow in the mail today. Hickory backed Ipe from Kenny down Mississippi way. I got to shoot it some Kenny and boy is it smooth. I'll try to get some pics up in the near future.

I got in the workshop for a whole hour today.  I got this much done.  I little more scraping and it'll be ready for a low brace.
